About

I design. I question. I build.

Portrait of Dmytro Chornohor

I’m Dmytro Chornohor, a Senior UX/UI and Product Designer with 7+ years of experience designing digital products and web experiences for clients around the world.

My work sits somewhere between product thinking, UX architecture, visual design and technology.

How I ended up here

  1. Early design

Learning visual design and digital interfaces.

  2. UX / UI

Moving from visual execution into user experience and product thinking.

  3. Product

Working on increasingly complex digital products.

  4. Systems

Moving from individual screens to reusable systems.

  5. Today

Working across product, UX, UI, systems and implementation.

A few things I believe

  • Clarity before decoration.

If users don’t understand the interface, visual polish won’t save it.

  • Systems before screens.

A good screen solves today’s problem. A good system solves tomorrow’s.

  • Constraints are part of the design.

Technical and business limitations are inputs, not excuses.

  • Good handoff is part of design.

The experience isn’t finished when the Figma file is finished.

  • Details matter.

Small inconsistencies compound into big perceptions.

AI is part of the toolbox.

I use AI to accelerate exploration, research, documentation, prototyping and development — not to outsource design thinking.

Design + code

I understand what happens after Figma.

My frontend experience helps me think beyond static screens — into components, responsive behaviour, states, tokens and implementation constraints.

Have a difficult product problem?

I’m most useful when the problem isn’t completely solved yet.
